The “Sa7ti Friyadti” program by TIBU Africa has been named the winner in the category of “Innovative Action of the Year” at the “Peace and Sport Awards 2020,” organized by Peace and Sport, an international organization that promotes peace through the power of sports, under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
TIBU Africa leverages the power of sports to design innovative social solutions in the fields of education, empowerment, and socio-economic inclusion, with a strong presence in 14 cities across Africa.
The “Sa7ti Friyadti” (empowerment through sports) program offers remote sports education and contributes to enhancing educational opportunities for thousands of youth from disadvantaged communities. It has developed a guide focused on nutrition, physical activities, and mental health support. The content is delivered through technological tools that allow direct interaction with beneficiaries and their families, up to three times a week.

The category of “Innovative Action of the Year” rewards an individual or organization that utilizes new technologies or develops innovative means to promote sports as a tool for lasting peace, education, and social development. The finalists for the 2020 edition were TIBU Africa, the International SAMBO Federation, and FLAG21.
